Now that winter is finally over it is time to get your lips into tip-top shape. Winter’s cold chills and harsh winds always make my lips super dry and flaky. I feel like my lips are perpetually chapped. Ugh. That’s why I’m obsessed with lip scrubs. Not only do lip scrubs remove peeling skin on lips but they give lips instant hydration. I rotate between the scrubs below and use a toothbrush with the scrub to further help get rid of dead skin. Make sure to apply a lip balm right after. I’m a lip balm hoarder but most times I use Aquaphor. How cute is this little mini version?!
Victoria’s Secret Beauty VS Pro Smooth FX Lip Scrub and Balm
The cool thing about this scrub is that it is a two-in-one. It has both a scrub and a balm designed for your convenience. The scrub works great! It feels just like sugar on your lips. Unfortunately this lip scrub has been discontinued. But VS has just released a newer version! Now I know what to get when this one bites the dust.
Okay this seriously smells so good! It smells exactly like vanilla and it reminds me of a Yankee Candle. This scrub is very hydrating that sometimes I don’t even need to apply a balm afterwards. I really have to prevent myself from actually eating this stuff — it’s that good! This scrub has caramel, grape seed oil, and jojoba seed oil.
How pretty is that baby pink color? This scrub smells just like cherries and with just a pea-size amount lips feels smooth. Since this formula is whipped the scrub is not super harsh and instead feels soft on application. Plus the cherries used are 100% natural.
Although this is not a lip scrub, this lip mask, other than Aquaphor or your favorite lip balm, is the perfect addition your lip care stash. This makes your lips super super soft and the organic agave nectar, jojoba oil, and vanilla extract will help heal even the worst chapped lips.
If you go to Sephora you can get both the Bite Beauty lip mask and a whipped cherry scrub stick for only $15!
What’s your favorite lip scrub?
