If you haven’t already heard of Glossier than you really need to check them out. Glossier is not your typical beauty brand. Instead of masking your imperfections this brand strives to put your best face forward by still allowing you to look like your natural self. So when I received an e-mail that Glossier will be releasing a new product and that if I got 5 people to sign up for a special giveaway I can score said product for free I was all game.
The new Coconut Balm Dotcom was just released for the summer. I already own their original Balm Dotcom — you can read my review of it here — and I use it everyday. This new balm is exactly like the original but with an updated look and best of all a new scent — you guessed it, coconut. Oh boy does this smell good! It smells so good I want to eat it, but that wouldn’t sit so well with my stomach. This new balm is seriously reminiscent of summertime lying on the beach while catching some vitamin D (while wearing SPF of course) and enjoying 80 degree weather.
It also reminds me of fresh baked cookies preferably those Danish Butter Cookies that come in a blue tin can (I know you know which ones I’m talking about!) I’m also loving the new packaging. This coconut goodness now comes in this cute little box which I don’t have the heart to toss out. And of course your package comes with Glossier’s signature stickers, because who doesn’t love stickers? The balm, just like the original, can be used to moisturize lips, cuticles, elbows, or any other dry areas.
As for that giveaway I mentioned earlier, I ended up getting 10 beautiful awesome kind people to sign up for the giveaway with my link and along with the Coconut Balm Dotcom I also won Glossier’s Soothing Face Mist. The mist is not a new product but I obviously needed to add it to my collection. I love the minimalistic bottle. So simple and chic! Now, I know you guys know that I love a good facial spray (see my recent facial sprays reviews here) and I’ve been using this mist since I received it. It’s really refreshing especially now during the warmer temps.
The scent is rose which like I’ve mentioned before is not a smell I love or that I hate. The rose smell in this mist however is strong and reminds of the nasal spray I use in the spring season to combat allergies. The smell does become subtle after spraying so it’s not that big of a deal. I would definitely recommend this and the new coconut balm.
Have you tried Glossier? What products are your currently loving right now?
