I’m a little bummed that summer is over. But I am so excited for the fall, chilly temps, and new makeup and skincare products. I’ve been a little MIA lately in the blogsphere, but I’m working on some new posts for you. To get the ball rolling again here are some products that I recently finished.
This is my everyday lotion that I use after I shower. I definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fragrance free option and that keeps skin hydrated. I usually switch between this one and my prescribed lactic acid lotion. This is an all-around a good lotion and can be found in any drugstore.
I have combo/oily skin so I thought this cleanser will come in handy for me. At first I loved it but then I started noticing that my skin always felt dry, which rarely happens. I then realized that it was this cleanser. From now on I just use a cleansing oil. But to be honest I do like to use this cleanser after a workout because it leaves my skin feeling clean. I will still recommend this but limit your use to only once a day or after a sweat session to avoid dryness.
I’m always 50/50 when it comes to deodorant. I either use a deodorant/antiperspirant or just a deodorant alone. Whenever I randomly go through my no antiperspirant phase I like to stick to all natural deodorants that contain no baking soda. Baking soda really irritates my underarms making them itchy, red, bumpy and creating hyper-pigmentation. BTW it’s a little hard to find an all natural deodorant that has zero baking soda. Meow Meow Tweet is baking soda free and I can pronounce all of the ingredients. This deodorant is super smoothing and has a pleasant smell. But is it long-lasting? So so. I had to reapply to make sure I would stay stink-free but to cut the product some slack I sweat A LOT. So although it didn’t last all day for me, it can absolutely work better for you. Everyone’s body chemistry is different.
